The ITIL4 Leader: Digital and IT Strategy is a unique learning programme that explores the enabling of business success through the creation of digital and IT strategies. The content of this learning programme demonstrates how digital and IT strategy can help to shape, influence and drive strategic business decisions and organisational change, in line with the agile and evolving customer and business landscape.
The program spans a duration of three days and provides delegates with the flexibility to choose between an intensive 3-day block or a more extended format of one day per week over a three-week period. This structure facilitates a comprehensive exploration of strategic concepts, empowering delegates to delve into deeper learning. Moreover, it allows delegates ample time for preparation leading up to a series of mandatory in-course assessed assignments, strategically distributed across the three distinct days. QA offers both scheduling options to accommodate individual preferences and align with diverse time schedules.

Prerequisites
Learners must have an ITIL 4 Foundation certificate, or have attended and passed ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition.
ITIL 3 or previous versions of ITIL Foundation certificates are NOT a valid prerequisite.
As part of preparing the delegates for the intensive nature of this learning programme you will be provided with pre-course work prior to attending the first day via myQA. It is CRUCIAL to the success of the overall learning experience that delegates will have read and studied the associated AXELOS case study and other pre-course reading PRIOR to attending the first day of the learning programme.
Please note: Due to the unique nature of this learning programme, which includes mandatory assessment activity, delegates MUST also demonstrate evidence of at least 3 years managerial experience when booking on to this course.

We highly advise that delegates should have acquired the ITIL 4 Managing Professional designation before booking onto this programme. This recommendation stems from the extensive strategic content covered in the course.

Assessment
Assignments are a crucial element of the learning programme and are designed to allow delegates to demonstrate they have grasped the key digital and IT strategy principles and that they can apply them to the associated AXELOS issued case study, which will be supplied to delegates as part of the pre-course work so enabling a smooth start to the first day of the learning programme.
The group assignments will be assessed and marked throughout the learning programme and passing these with a minimum score of 30 out of 40 is required prior to delegates taking the associated ‘closed book’ examination.
Delegates will receive notification of their in-course assignment results within 2 business days of completing the learning program. Upon passing, they can schedule the 30-question multiple-choice exam, requiring a score of 21 or higher for success. Successful completion of both the assignments and the exam leads to the awarding of the ITIL 4 Leader: Digital and IT Strategy certification.
PeopleCert exams take place remotely via PeopleCert Online Proctoring, and the afternoon of the last day of your course will continue with your learning until approximately 4.00pm. When booking your exam please ensure that it is for a time after the course has concluded and you have had confirmation that your assignment has passed. You may need to download special software such as ExamShield – your trainer will offer you guidance.
Reasonable Adjustments Policy
The exam provider allows additional time for candidates who have a disability or whose native language differs to that of the examination paper. Full details and how to apply can be found here www.qa.com/axelosexams. At least two weeks' notice will be required for processing this request.

There are a number of ways to create an account. If you are a self-funder, simply select the "Create account" option on the login page.
If you have been booked onto a course by your company, you will receive a confirmation email. From this email, select "Sign into myQA" and you will be taken to the "Create account" page. Complete all of the details and select "Create account".
If you have the booking number you can also go here and select the "I have a booking number" option. Enter the booking reference and your surname. If the details match, you will be taken to the "Create account" page from where you can enter your details and confirm your account.

How do QA’s virtual classroom courses work?
Our virtual classroom courses allow you to access award-winning classroom training, without leaving your home or office. Our learning professionals are specially trained on how to interact with remote attendees and our remote labs ensure all participants can take part in hands-on exercises wherever they are.
We use the WebEx video conferencing platform by Cisco. Before you book, check that you meet the WebEx system requirements and run a test meeting (more details in the link below) to ensure the software is compatible with your firewall settings. How do QA’s online courses work?
QA online courses, also commonly known as distance learning courses or elearning courses, take the form of interactive software designed for individual learning, but you will also have access to full support from our subject-matter experts for the duration of your course. When you book a QA online learning course you will receive immediate access to it through our e-learning platform and you can start to learn straight away, from any compatible device. Access to the online learning platform is valid for one year from the booking date.

When will I receive my joining instructions?
Joining instructions for QA courses are sent two weeks prior to the course start date, or immediately if the booking is confirmed within this timeframe. For course bookings made via QA but delivered by a third-party supplier, joining instructions are sent to attendees prior to the training course, but timescales vary depending on each supplier’s terms.
